Epilogue
Well, it turned out that little Eric (big Eric's nephew), who came to visit for a
few days, had the chickenpox. So Elijah came down with them about a week after
we got back. Of course, Noah, not wanting to simply follow in his brother's
footsteps, waited to get them from Elijah. So we've basically had sick kids for
6 weeks running (I'll spare you the color photos). Would we do it again? In a
second! Eternal gratefulness to Eric and Sherry for letting us trash their
house, and for being such good sports about the whole thing. After we lifted off
from Schipol airport, they had a stream of visitors for the next month. They're
juggernauts.
